Amanda Irene – Founder

AIM-Link was started to address the critical barriers youth in Tanzania face due to limited access to technology, the internet, and networks for advancement. These talented, hardworking, and innovative young people struggle to further their education and careers because they lack essential resources. The case studies we reviewed highlighted the profound impact this lack of access has on their potential.

Amanda Irene is passionate about leading AIM-Link, a nonprofit dedicated to bridging the digital divide for youth in Tanzania. With a background in nonprofit program facilitation, community outreach, and project management, she is committed to driving meaningful change in the lives of young people.

Throughout her career, Amanda has worked to facilitate access to essential resources for diverse populations, including individuals facing barriers to basic needs such as stability, education, and healthcare. She has also contributed to initiatives focused on enhancing support services for job seekers.

With hands-on experience, she has contributed to the development of effective training programs and community engagement strategies, connecting individuals with valuable resources and opportunities. Her integral roles in event planning, fundraising, and outreach demonstrate her ability to foster community partnerships and drive mission-focused initiatives.

Amanda brings a strong foundation in nonprofit operations, program management, and community advocacy, combined with her experience in resource allocation, to support the establishment of AIM-Link. She has successfully led community awareness campaigns, conducted extensive research on resource accessibility, and coordinated initiatives to advance career and educational opportunities for those in need. Her experience guiding youth toward opportunities aligns seamlessly with AIM-Link’s mission to bridge the digital divide and provide young people with access to technology and resources they need for success.

Her leadership is supported by a solid academic foundation, holding a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on management, equipping her with the organizational development and operational skills essential for driving AIM-Link’s success. With AIM-Link’s team, Amanda is dedicated to creating opportunities for youth by leveraging her expertise in strategic planning and resource facilitation, focusing on providing access to technology and educational resources while connecting young people with mentors in their fields of interest, empowering them to advance their futures in an increasingly digital world.
